Brown Dust 2 Support Characters
Buffers, amplifiers, chainers, and healers — the kits that multiply whoever you put in the carry slot.
Supports are the account. Attackers are the costume you swap when the fiend’s element changes. If you only remember one pull rule, remember this page. Fill 12-Pick from the jobs below, then read team building to avoid stacking the same multiplier twice. Ranks for raids sit on the PvE tier list. The bodies sit on the character hub.
Job 1 — Team damage buff
Teresse is the textbook. Her kits raise the team’s damage in a way new Masters feel immediately. Seasonal takes such as Beachside Angel Teresse keep the job on the banner rotation. You do not need every Teresse costume; you need one you will plus.
If Teresse is not in the shop, look for other generic damage buffs on the current 12-Pick list rather than forcing a third ATK-only buffer.
Job 2 — ATK or MATK
Homunculus Lathel (and related Lathel buff costumes) feed physical carries. Helena lines feed magic carries. Pick the side your Infinite Draw already committed to (reroll). Dual-investing both ATK and MATK before you have a single plus-3 buffer is how powder vanishes.
Job 3 — Vulnerability / amplification
Dark Saintess Liberta pays you for chains you were going to stack anyway. That is why she shows up in every serious Fiend conversation. Magical Innovator Diana is the other name people 12-Pick to plus. New Hire Seir stacks when she is hit — a different trigger, still an amp. Some Eleaneer costumes add a long vulnerability window.
You want one of these jobs, plus-ranked, before a second limited DPS.
Job 4 — Chain
Poolside Fairy Refithea (PWB Refi in older notes) throws team-wide chain help. Celia costumes (Descendant of the Great Witch, Masquerade Bunny, and friends) are the multi-hit stackers. Zenith kits such as Poolside Guardian raise the damage per chain on a tile. Fiend Hunter without a chain plan is just a slower story fight. See combat.
Job 5 — Stay alive
Acting Archbishop Michaela, Earth Mother Believer Priestess, Onsen Manager Liberta, and similar kits exist so the carry lives through S1. Story packs let you skip them. Hard fiends do not. Seasonal Michaela costumes (Beachside Justice) may be attackers instead — read the skill, not the family name.
12-Pick starter list (change names, keep jobs)
A reasonable new-player 12-Pick is “two damage buffs, two amps, one chain, one sustain,” then fillers you already own and want to plus. Community docs in 2026 still mention Granadair water kits, Water Park Queen Wilhelmina, Homunculus Lathel, and Dark Saintess Liberta as plus magnets. Your shop will differ. Screenshot the in-game list; do not copy a year-old Google sheet blindly.

How to plus a support without going broke
Pick one costume per job and feed it copies until a breakpoint feels obvious in a practice fight. Do not spread four +1 kits. The gacha planner is the spend cap; the daily checklist is the copy income. Shop 5-stars that match a job beat a limited you will not plus.
When a collab week lands — Chained Soldier 2 in September 2026 is the current noise — check whether the new kit is actually a new job. If it is a third damage buff, skip it. If it is a chain amp you lack, it may be worth the window on events.
